It's a challenge for the Australian squad to achieve unprecedented feats.

We're talking about the team that has won seven Cricket World Cups, along with six more T20 titles, and previously enjoyed over three years without defeat in 50-over cricket.

The alternative records, targeted by the record chasers, are all that remain for a squad that has accomplished all there is.

That it took until Sunday's three-wicket win over India for them to complete their first ODI chase exceeding 300, regaining their record for the highest in the women's 50-over format, is, honestly, a testament to the bowling attack that have worn canary yellow over five decades.

It's difficult for their batsmen to possess a record if not afforded the possibility.

"If you've been watching me in practice sessions, it has been a disappointing period because I feel like my form was missing at all," stated Healy.

"Yet the moment you step out on the field, your competitive nature take over and you simply focus on the contest."

Healy's fighting spirit has always been her key asset - and an irreplaceable characteristic in replacing legendary former captain Meg Lanning.

She was tormented by India's promising player Kranti Gaud in recent ODI series, dismissed by the 22-year-old seamer in each encounter, but here that only provided Healy's inspiration.

"An opportunity to go out there and face the challenge with her and just have a bit of fun in that regard, somewhat inspired me," commented Healy.

She got to fifty in 35 balls - her swiftest at the World Cup - and her century in 84 balls as she flogged anything short, scoring 21 fours and three maximums.

By the time she was out Australia required another 66 at one run per ball - an achievable target now demanding an easy conclusion.

"Chasing 330 runs is unfamiliar ground so I am glad we have the belief to accomplish that now," continued Healy.

"Hopefully we don't have to do it another time but, should it happen, we believe we can do it."

Those words will be the final thing Australia's opponents at this World Cup want to hear.

In recent days a feeling they will win from any position has grown stronger - this triumph succeeding win against Pakistan by 107-run victory despite struggling at 76-7 at a certain moment.

Next Australia play Bangladesh before an encounter with longtime competitors England in Indore in 10 days, by which point a semi-final berth may likely be confirmed.
