In a unexpected collaboration that challenges conventional predictions, the game developer has revealed an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.
Strange Adventure Disclosed
According to the official statement, "An unusual meeting pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where whispers of banned practices and terrifying metamorphoses echo through the obscurity." The narrative presents a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who charges the pair with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a clandestine group.
The questline concentrates on "bizarre tests and a monstrous adversary" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Familiar Places and Changes
The teaser features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview concludes with a dramatic scene showing a character, presumably the captive, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Prizes and Extra Material
Players who finish the quest will acquire an unique katana together with several artifacts secreted throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
